The Tetris light by Paladone is such a cool product. We had these in stock last year before Christmas, and it was hard to keep them in stock. Good news–these will be back in stock around the end of June! You can configure this light in many different ways, and the pieces light up when they are touching the rest of the lamp. Once you remove the piece, it turns off! Check out our short demo, and Paladone’s fun promo. You can reserve one today on our site!

So this one may not be available, but I really like the idea. The lines clearing definitely adds a different element to the lamp. There is one Tetris lamp on the market, and it is the constructible Tetris light from Paladone. If you haven’t seen it yet, make sure to check it out.
If IKEA Made Geeky Furniture is a series of design concepts made for geeks by a geek. These are not actual products for sale.
This one is pretty self-explanatory: a lamp based on Tetris. The light would come from a “Tetris”, the clearing of four levels at once. I felt a 4-sided lamp would look good, and could use an old-fashioned bulb inside.
So we did our first YouTube video for JMD Retail. We put together a quick demo of the Tetris light from Paladone. Check it out here:
So you may have seen our post a while back on the Tetris light that is coming out soon. We actually just started working with the company that makes that product, Paladone. They make a lot of really cool products from Tetris, Pac-man, and other Paladone novelties. We have just placed our first order, and expect it to arrive in the next month.
We started with a few Tetris items, such as the light, cufflinks, alarm clock, ice trays, and mugs. The Tetris lamp can be configured into different shapes, and the pieces light up when they are stacked and turn off when you unstack them. The Tetris alarm clock uses a unique display that builds the time out of falling Tetris blocks! Then there are the Tetris cufflinks…if you want to attract attention or spark a conversation, this is definitely one way to do it.
We are hoping to expand into a few of their other product lines soon. Check out these products and let us know what you think!

This Tetris light is one of the upcoming items that we are really excited to see in person. I have many memories of Tetris through my childhood from the regular NES game to passing time in Algebra II on my graphing calculator. This light definitely has some nostalgia. The pieces can be stacked in multiple configurations, they light up when they are stacked together, and turn off when separated. We are curious exactly how this works. We haven’t seen a real thorough description from the original releases on this. It sounds pretty unique, and looks like it would get some attention on your desk. This is expected to arrive in October, so it’ll be just in time for your Christmas shopping. We also have several other Tetris and Pacman items under the novelty section.
