Our internet ended up being kind of spotty at our hotel, so we apologize that we did not get these updates as quickly as we intended. We arrived at Toy Fair on the third day, and it was noticeably quieter than the first two days. The only meeting that we had set up was with Bif Bang Pow. We found some exciting news for fans of The Big Bang Theory. There will be 8″ figures of Sheldon, Leonard, Raj, Howard, and Penny. There will also be 3 3/4″ figures of these characters plus Amy Farrah Fowler and Bernadette. There will also be various novelties for the show-our favorites being journals featuring the Roommate Agreement and the Relationship Agreement.
Dexter will be featured with several new items as well. There will be a Dexter Blood Splatter Analyst bobble head, as well as a Dexter bobble head with sound. A new 3 3/4″ Dexter blood spatter action figure will also be on its way mid-year. The Dexter news that we found the most interesting is a collectors box to hold the blood slides that come with the figures. This box set will also include an air conditioner collectors tin and mini Dexter figure.
The rest of the day we checked out some booths that we had missed throughout day 1 and 2. We turned in an order with Monogram International, so we will start to have more Marvel and DC keychains and a wider assortment of Nightmare Before Christmas items for all of the fans of that classic movie. Another new vendor that we came across is Mimoco. This company makes cool USB flash drives and MicroSC card readers that are designed like Star Wars, DC, and other characters. We are pretty excited to see people’s reaction to these new items, and we will have them up on our site in the next few days.
Unfortunately, we did not get pictures of the Mimoco items from the convention, but we will have Dexter and Big Bang Theory pictures up soon on our Facebook:

Overall this year was a very good year for Toy Fair. We are very excited about the new Kotobukiya Avengers Assemble ArtFX+, although that probably won’t release until early 2014. The Classic Avengers Hulk was also very impressive. Funko had so many new Pop and Wacky Wobblers to be excited about, especially Walking Dead. From DC Collectibles, the new Batman Black and White statues and Man of Steel Superman line look like they should be well received. We finished our trip up by riding the Staten Island Ferry to get a nice view of the city, walked around Manhatten a little bit in some of the best weather you could expect for a February in New York City. Now we are back in Florida, and getting back to work. We hope that you enjoyed the info from Toy Fair, and we look forward to hearing your thoughts on the new items!
